–  The Product Quality Control Engineer works in the quality control department of the company to define, maintain and implement the quality management system of the company.  At the same time, from the perspective of industry norms, responsible for testing whether the product is defective or deviant, ensuring product quality, meeting the company’s quality standards and meeting the customer’s quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of BARALAN’s stock products (cosmetic packaging materials – glass bottles and accessories) and products distributed through BARALAN.  
• Conduct quality inspection and report in English according to Baralan Quality Specifications for glass bottles, plastic products and other accessories according to company Baralan Quality Specifications and customer requirements.
• Summarize and file all quality inspection records and related materials.
• Assist Baralan Innovation Department and related departments in new product development.
• Provide technical support to the sourcing team, inspect the supplier’s samples and productions for quality inspection, report the inspection and data testing, and discuss the product inspection results.
• Final product inspection of domestic production orders, issue inspection quality report, and provide professional suggestions for improvements when necessary.
• Provide technical support to sales department. Understand and be able to perform quality and performance tests such as vacuum testing, torque machine, pull force, push force, etc.
• Assist in handling any complaints about product quality and provide professional advice on corrective action reports.
• Communicate and coordinate with quality control departments of Baralan group team.
• Supporting Sourcing Department in new supplier evaluation and introduction.
• Supporting Shanghai Sales Department to communicate and develop new products with technical personnel of relevant customers.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 3 years or above Cosmetic packaging QC work experience is preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good teamwork skill and communication, organization and coordination ability –    Serious and responsible at work, with strong logical thinking and analytical judgment ability.
• Be able to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings, has knowledge on plastic mold and product specifications, and be familiar with inspection standards and procedures for cosmetic packaging
• Accept reasonable business trips arranged by the company.
