Job brief
– We are looking for a Functional Analyst Finance & Business Intelligence to join our IT team and support the evolution of the Group’s applications, with a strong focus on the administrative and financial areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing reports and dashboards, analyzing data, and contributing to the continuous improvement of ERP solutions. This role combines both functional and technical expertise, particularly in Business Intelligence and development, to ensure effective decision-making and optimized business processes.
Responsibilities
The candidate will contribute to the development and evolution of reporting solutions and application systems supporting the administrative and management areas, working in close collaboration with the IT team and business functions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of an integrated Group reporting system, based on Power BI, that collects and harmonizes data from various ERP systems (Business Central, NAVISION, and other applications);
- Collaborate with the IT team and business functions to gather requirements and translate them into reporting and data analysis solutions;
- Support the evolution of solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, contributing to the integration between ERP and Business Intelligence tools;
- Understand and support the main processes of Administration, Finance, and Control;
- Contribute to data quality and governance, ensuring consistency between ERP and Business Intelligence tools;
- Contribute to the development of application solutions and integrations aimed at increasing the level of automation of administrative processes, improving operational efficiency, and reducing manual tasks;
- Collaborate with the IT team on the development and evolution of the Group’s key application projects, contributing to the analysis, implementation, and integration of systems on a global level;
- Provide second-level application support for areas of expertise (reporting, data, administrative processes), analyzing issues, supporting users, and coordinating any escalations to vendors or technical teams.
Requirements and skills
- Knowledge of administrative and accounting processes (general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, reporting);
- Ability to understand ERP data flows and translate business needs into functional requirements;
- Experience in structured corporate environments, preferably international.
- Experience in Power BI development (dashboards, data models, DAX);
- Good knowledge of SQL;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAVISION).
- Experience in IT roles supporting the Finance department (Application Specialist, BI Analyst, ERP Consultant, etc.)
- Ability to analyze and interpret data;
- Ability to interact with business users (particularly in administration);
- Precision and attention to data quality;
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions;
- Project management and organizational skills;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English (minimum B2 level);
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time;
- At least five years of experience, preferably in the distribution and manufacturing sectors.
