Job brief
– The candidate will join the Administration and Finance team and will be responsible for managing administrative and accounting activities related to accounts receivable, ensuring that invoices are issued correctly and that company procedures and applicable tax regulations are followed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts receivable process for domestic and international customers.
- Verify the accuracy of the data required to issue invoices and credit memos.
- Monitor and record transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Assist with account reconciliation and balancing customer accounts.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics departments to ensure the proper management of invoicing workflows.
- Handle any administrative disputes and document requests from customers.
- Support monthly and annual closing activities.
- Prepare administrative reports and update relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable tax regulations.
- Provide support for the Finance department’s routine administrative and accounting activities.
Requirements and skills
- Belonging to a protected category under Law 68/99.
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, and Marketing or equivalent qualification; a degree in economics is considered a plus.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in administrative and accounting roles, preferably with a focus on accounts receivable.
- Possess negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and the main tax obligations related to invoicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP systems and accounting/administrative software.
- Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
